Gwen's Unfulfilled Romance in Mexico
The summer after our high-school graduation, my friend Letty and I went
to Mexico. Letty's family owned a house in a town not too far from the border.
We would stay there for a few days alone for a little R&R. Then her parents
and siblings would join us for the weekend and then drive us home. We rode the
Greyhound to the Rio Grande, and then a little Mexican bus to Letty's home
town.
