MovingNo matter how many boxes you get, you never, ever end up with enough boxes.
You start putting your stuff in beach bags and trash bags. You start tying up stuff in sheets. You put stuff in laundry baskets and set it in the backseat of your car, too embarrassed to let the movers see your laundry baskets full of coathangers, blank CDs, toilet paper, and the morning's bills.
You tell yourself those laundry baskets and trash bags full of socks will not stay in your car for more than one day.
Why do you lie? Why do you lie to yourself like that?

I moved last October, so I sympathise. Our removal firm supplied us with loads of boxes as they're so hard to come by these days - you can hire them from R. firms - in England anyway.

And you forgot to mention the part where not all boxes will be empty, and put away for at least a year or two!
I hate moving too! Such a pain in the rear!

sometimes i lie and say i have a two seater if people want a ride because i just have too many garbage bags filled with crap in there from when i moved like 85 years ago.

I hate to move. I think I might rather have a fire than a move.
I am still unpacking from the Bar exam. I lived in a hotel for nine days and I have laundry, cosmetics, food, books, books, books.
If you still need boxes...call me or write because I keep boxes in the attic. Those banker boxes because they are easier for me to carry.
