is that the torrid new year's dresss i spy? you look RADIANT in plum.# posted by tuckova : 2:19 AM
Thank you. I never thought I could wear that color til I got that dress.
That dress was actually not as flattering as I'd hoped it would be on my newly fattened figure. But Torrid only had strapless affairs, so I chose the prettiest one.
Later I'm going to post a long entry about the New Year's fiasco, and it will have real pictures of the whole dress. (With me in it.)
I'm just waiting til I can work up the courage to post pictures of myself looking so very big and round.

Cant wait to hear about it!! You looked fabulous and like you were happy. The shoes are awesome!!!
Besides NOT wanting to get married and have cute chinese babies, what are your goals? I cant believe that many people have asked you that you had to make a whole entery about it. Bravo to you two doing what you wish, when you wish and just enjoying each other and being content to have love in your lives!!!
Kudos!!

Those photos are all great, but the last one is the best. You look completely, stunningly beautiful.

Pixie: Thank you. We were completely drunk, hence the smiling.
My long-term goals are to get my kids into good schools, quit my day job, and buy a house with a garden. If Tad is still my boyfriend when all that occurs, I'll be glad, because he's a very good boyfriend and I love him.
Tina: Thank you. The credit for that picture goes half to my bf's tiny ear, which makes everything look cuter, and half to MAC's Strobe Cream, which hadn't yet been smeared from my cheekbone at that point.

The Ren Faire chicks with the Stormtrooper at...Busch Gardens? There's a weird backstory lurking behind those cute, smiling kids, I bet.
And you look stunning, absolutely stunning. Thank you for the visual calendar of your year. And for making time to blog for me to enjoy.

Thanks, y'all three. I love y'all.
White Trasherati: It was the yearly Ren Fest somewhere up near Tomball, Texas. We were walking around taking pictures of people and, randomly as heck, there was a group of women with a single young man in Stormtrooper garb. I never found out why.

Hi Gwen,
Oh, that's the butt you were talking about!
The stormtrooper at the ren-fair reminds me of the time my family and I went first to a comic book fair where there were Klingons, I mean honest to God could have walked off the Star Trek set-- Klingons.
Then we went to Hanford's annual Ren-fair and there they where again! I guess they just thought well we got the costumes lets wear them again.
I did love the fact that one of the kids at the ren-fair ask one of the Klingons where he was from and the Klingon said "I'm from France."

That's hilarious. That makes me want to wear my Night Elf costume to our Ren Fest next year. I'll say I'm Welsh.
