May 3, Houston: The big one -- the Inprint reading -- occurs at the Alley Theatre on Monday, May 3. Do not miss it or you'll be sorry. I'm not kidding -- I'm going to say the craziest, most intellectual yet hilarious stuff I can think of, and I'll be sharing the stage with the ultra sexy Oscar Casares, too.
June 24, Houston: I'm one of the peeps scheduled to read at Poison Pen, at Houston's famous Poison Girl bar. Besides me, everyone there will be ultra, *super* sexy. Come see me and drink!
June 26, Washington, DC: I'll be reading at the American Library Association conference. Come on down.
My other blog: Go read my the Houston Chronicle parenting blog (or my ChronMomBlog, as I like to call it) and make sure my kids won't resent me more than other kids resent their own parents.
Buy my new novel, Lone Star Legend. Already did? Well, buy a few more for your friends, then. :)

Linkelodeon- This is my boyfriend Tad, as mentioned in the comments in the post below. He's not lazy. He's relaxed. (The one shaking its ass to the Walkman, who likes to bother relaxed people while they sleep? Must be me.)
- Thanks to Erika E. for a link to the cutest little feces-loving maggots, ever.
- Rebecca tells the snide Republicans: "Fuck you."
- How Past Girlfriends Could Have Changed History: "In the middle of planning a surprise attack on civilians, Osama bin Laden would be invited to meet Anna's family in rural Pennsylvania over Christmas break."
- The always hyperactively funny Jeremy B on Condoleeza's coif: "Looks like a snap-on Lego-style hair helmet."
- So Very Angry: "Hi, Terri? Someone needs to tell you to stop leaving your damn Tupperware all over the company kitchen."
- PONY-FIED! My Little Ponies dressed as Justice League characters. Via Ernie's.
- Harry Potter fanfic in which Snape is "forced" to seduce Hermione.
- Harry Potter fanfic in which Draco and Neville are elegantly gay.
- Harry Potter comic fanfic in which Snape is forced to disrobe. All those fanfics via the Chicklit forum.

Hi Gwen,The tupperware hater should send a memo!
The naked snape comic was very funny! And so were some of the other drawings too! I put it on my favoites list!
And the last one was scary! I think that guy with the pamlets was casing the joint! Maybe to find some female victims. He had a handy excuse, that he was only very inocently passing out pamlets!
It wouldn't be the first time that evil hid behind a relegious face!
I hope those girls keep they're doors locked!
